Hello world! Welcome to Peter's Guide to Politics in Northern Ireland. This is my own personal site and represents my own personal views on the situation in the North. I hope to present all my views in a non-partisan/non-biased fashion.
This site contains, or will contain shortly, views on the current problems facing the peace process in the North plus reviews of the key players in the process and in politics generally in Northern Ireland. I will be looking at the various parties and analyzing their various strenghts and weaknesses, both pro and anti agreement.
Before I begin I should outline my own position. I'm from Dublin in the Republic of Ireland and I would probably fit the description of very moderate Nationalist. I'm Pro-agreement but believe there are considerable defects in the implementation of the Agreement
